The lute enjoyed a revival with the development of interest in historical music around 1900 and throughout the century. During the early days of the music movement, several lutes were built by available luthiers, whose area of expertise was often classical guitars. We at Muzikkon have seen a recent global revival in instruments such as the Renaissance lutes. This Muzikkon 8 Course Wenge Lute has been designed for professional musicians by using high-end woods and strings. This lute emits a very beautiful sound. Note: Lute Pegs are tapered and are held in by friction. As you tune in, press in on the pegs to seat them. This will seat the peg securely in the peg box of the lute. They must be pushed in for a secure hold. Only use enough pressure as necessary. If the pegs slip when released, use peg dope or wax-less chalk to increase the friction.
